I will show you how to delete a Discord server via Discord desktop app (web, macOS & Windows) as well as Discord mobile app (iOS & Android).

Please be aware that only the owner of the Discord server can delete it.

You can either use a desktop or mobile app to delete servers of your own.

How to Delete Discord Server on Mobile Device (iOS & Android)

To delete the Discord server via mobile, follow these instructions - we attached screenshots so you can always verify your steps with us.

The procedure is identical on iOS and Android phones.

Step 1: Open the Discord app on your iPhone or Android phone

Step 2: In the first screen, tap in the top left corner in the hamburger icon to pull out the left-hand side menu. You can also open the menu by swiping the screen from the left edge of the phone to the right

Step 3: In the left-hand menu, tap the icon of the server to select the Discord server you want to delete

Step 4: Next, in the same menu window, tap the three dots next to the server name (top right corner of left side menu) to open the server’s menu

Step 5: Inside the server menu, tap “Settings” (gear icon) on the right-hand side

Step 6: Next, inside the server settings menu, tap the Overview option

Step 7: In the Overview window, scroll all the way down and tap “Delete Server”

Step 8: In the confirmation pop-up, confirm that you want to delete the server

Step 9: If you have enabled two-factor authentication, you will need to confirm your choice by inputting your six-digit authentication code (2FA)

Step 10: Tap “Delete Server” to confirm

You might see a short questionnaire asking you why you decided to delete the server - just pick any option.

That’s all - your Discord server is officially deleted!

How to delete Discord Server on Desktop (macOS & Windows)

Here is how to delete a server on Discord, using a PC or Mac.

The same procedure applies to both native macOS and Windows apps as well as Discord on the web.

  • open the Discord app on your Windows or Mac computer or the web version of Discord available at Discord
  • on the very left, click to switch to the server you want to delete
  • next, click the drop-down menu next to the server name and choose the Server Settings option
  • in the menu column on the left, under “User management”, you should see “Delete Server” - click it
  • in the confirmation pop-up window, confirm that you want to delete the server
  • if you have two-factor authentication enabled, you will need to confirm your choice by inputting your six-digit authentication code (2FA),

  • you might see a short questionnaire asking you why you decided to delete the server - just pick any option
