So, after you allow camera access to Snapchat, you can give the app the option to save photos to the cloud through manual or smart backup settings.

This way, each video or picture you send as Snap, can be automatically backed up in your Snapchat photos, and this same process can be extrapolated into your camera roll.

Understanding Snapchat Memories

Snapchat Memories is a new feature that allows you to have saved Snaps or pictures that you can later access through a backed up folder.

Even if you delete and reinstall Snapchat, the saved pictures will be here.

That’s why so many people want to backup photos using Snapchat Memories settings - they are reliable and work efficiently.

Nevertheless, you cannot recover lost memories that were wrongly uploaded.

Hence, we recommend you have a good cellular service and Wi-Fi network connection before letting Snapchat save your camera roll photos into the cloud.
